Career coaching provides the opportunity to pause, step back from your day-to-day work and gain clarity about where you want your career to go.
When the path ahead no longer feels clear, when responsibilities evolve or when you sense it is time for professional growth, a career coach offers both the space and the tools to explore your professional identity and define meaningful, achievable goals. The organisations I have worked with for many years continue to invest in career coaching because the development of a manager is rarely confined to one individual—it influences every member of their team.
As an organisational psychologist, I support professionals and managers at those moments when perspectives, capabilities and aspirations need to be brought back into alignment. Together, we explore the strengths that are already present, identify those that can be further developed and give proper attention to the ambitions that deserve to be heard.
My approach is inspired by the Visual Psychology® Method, which combines psychological insight with visual thinking. The ideas that emerge during our conversations do not remain invisible. They take shape on paper, becoming clearer, more structured and easier to work with.
If your organisation is investing in people’s development and you are looking for the right support, we can design a coaching programme tailored to your specific goals.
Che cos’è il career coaching
Career coaching is a structured process that helps people reflect on their professional journey, identify the direction that best fits their aspirations and create a realistic pathway towards change.
It is particularly valuable when you want to grow professionally, have questions about your current role, are considering a career transition or wish to restore balance between responsibility, motivation and wellbeing.
During our sessions, we explore previous experiences, natural strengths, recurring behavioural patterns at work and expectations for the future. The process does not provide ready-made answers; it strengthens your ability to make thoughtful, well-informed decisions.
When Can Career Coaching Help?
Many people seek career coaching when they sense that something in their professional life is beginning to change: a new leadership responsibility, a promotion, a demanding project requiring a different level of capability or simply a growing feeling that who they are no longer aligns with what they do.
Career coaching is equally valuable during periods of managerial development, organisational restructuring or whenever the demands of the workplace begin to outweigh personal resources.
Sometimes, however, people arrive with one deceptively simple question:
“Is this still the right path for me?”
Together, we explore what that question truly means.
What Does a Career Coach Do — and What Doesn’t a Career Coach Do?
My role as a career coach is to help people interpret their professional journey with greater clarity.
I support clients in defining goals, recognising their strengths and understanding which behaviours encourage—or limit—their professional growth.
I do not offer universal advice or predetermined solutions. Instead, I help each person discover the direction that best reflects their experience, capabilities and professional identity.
Career coaching becomes a space where people reconnect with their value, understand their organisational context more deeply and develop a more intentional and sustainable way of working.
My Approach to Career Coaching
My methodology combines organisational psychology—which helps uncover workplace dynamics and the motivations that drive behaviour—with graphic recording, giving rise to Visual Coaching®.
Throughout the coaching process, I visually map ideas, decision points and professional goals, making the connections between thoughts, behaviours and experiences immediately visible.
Whenever appropriate, I also incorporate professional psychological assessments, providing an objective perspective on behavioural preferences, potential and ways of thinking.
This integrated approach makes the coaching journey clearer, more practical and better aligned with each individual’s unique identity.
Different Forms of Career Coaching
Career coaching can take different forms depending on the needs of the individual or the organisation.
For individuals, One-to-One Coaching provides the space for deeper work on goals, self-awareness and professional direction.
When development involves an entire leadership group or functional team, Team Coaching offers an opportunity to explore shared dynamics, collective strengths and new ways of working together.
For professionals relocating internationally, Expat Coaching provides valuable support throughout the transition, helping them navigate cultural adaptation, evolving expectations and the identity shifts that often accompany international assignments.
Although these programmes differ in format, they all share the same purpose: helping people and the organisations they work for gain greater clarity about their direction and transform change into meaningful professional growth.
What Can You Expect from Career Coaching?
Every coaching journey is different because every person brings a unique combination of experiences, strengths and aspirations.
Career coaching helps people regain direction, make decisions with greater confidence, strengthen leadership and interpersonal capabilities, navigate challenging conversations and develop a more authentic relationship with their professional role.
Many people begin coaching feeling dissatisfied with the way they respond to workplace challenges and uncertainty. By the end of the process, they usually have a clearer understanding of their potential, a broader view of the opportunities available to them and greater confidence in how they choose to move forward.
Within organisations, coaching becomes a practical resource during role transitions, leadership development, team management and talent development initiatives.
Who Is Career Coaching For?
Career coaching is increasingly recognised by organisations as a strategic investment, particularly during periods of uncertainty, growth and organisational change.
It is particularly valuable for professionals taking on new responsibilities, managers redefining their leadership as their organisation evolves, team leaders working under sustained pressure and individuals being prepared for their first people-management role.
My approach does not begin with labels or predefined categories. Instead, it focuses on identifying strengths and capabilities that often remain invisible both to the individual and to the organisation.
Career coaching therefore becomes a space where potential can emerge, existing capabilities can be recognised and people can build a more authentic and sustainable way of leading, contributing and growing.
Programmes are typically sponsored by the organisation when there is a commitment to supporting employees through a development journey that begins with reflection and self-awareness and leads to measurable professional growth.
If your organisation is investing in people’s development and you are looking for the right support, we can design a coaching programme tailored to your specific goals.
