Psychological and behavioural assessments help reveal what often remains hidden in everyday conversations: reasoning styles, behavioural patterns, decision-making approaches and cultural influences.
Within organisations, assessments are used to complement subjective perceptions and provide an additional source of insight for recruitment, talent development, performance evaluation and the management of complex teams.
As an Organisational Psychologist, I use only certified and scientifically validated tools, selected for their international reliability and their practical value in organisational settings.

Why Use Psychological Assessments in Organisations?
An assessment does not judge people. It helps interpret behaviour across different contexts.
It is a way of understanding how we work, rather than defining who we are.
Psychometric assessments are valuable professional tools that help organisations:
- improve recruitment processes;
- support leadership development;
- complement performance evaluation;
- understand individual and team dynamics;
- identify talent and development areas;
- support organisational change;
- build more targeted and effective learning programmes.
The strength of psychometric assessment lies in combining objective measurement, based on standardised samples, with psychological interpretation, providing a clearer understanding of workplace behaviour.
Behavioural Assessments
Behavioural assessments analyse how people act, communicate and make decisions.
They are particularly useful for understanding responses to pressure and external stimuli, relationship styles, approaches to problem solving, conflict management, stress management and preferred communication styles.
I use the DISC Assessment because it provides an immediate understanding of behavioural styles within teams.
It is an internationally recognised tool that is easy to understand and highly effective in everyday organisational practice, particularly in leadership development programmes, executive coaching, role redesign initiatives and group dynamics analysis.
What Is the DISC Assessment Used For?
Understanding the behavioural composition of a team is a fundamental first step towards increasing effectiveness, collaboration and organisational awareness.
The greater the diversity of styles within a group, the greater its ability to interpret situations from different perspectives and respond in complementary ways.
The DISC Assessment provides a snapshot of this composition and serves as a practical starting point for development initiatives.
It is also an excellent foundation for a Team Coaching programme.
Explore a sample report and see how different behavioural styles influence the way people approach problems, decisions and relationships within a team.
Personality Assessments
For personality assessment, I work with Psytech International and its 15FQ+ questionnaire, which highlights key behavioural characteristics including mindset, values, typical reactions, collaboration style, influencing skills, leadership tendencies and emotional intelligence.
Assessment reports provide insights into:
- leadership effectiveness;
- the roles typically adopted within a group;
- relationships with managers and authority figures;
- persuasion style;
- sales orientation;
- empathy;
- potential dysfunctional behaviours.
This last dimension represents one of the key differences between behavioural assessments and personality assessments.
Personality assessments help analyse how people perceive the world around them, process experiences, express psychological tendencies and identify which contexts feel most natural or challenging.
Personality Assessment with a Focus on Emotional Intelligence
The 2022 version of Psytech International’s 15FQ+ assessment provides a personality profile based on the latest post-pandemic research, with particular emphasis on conflict management and emotional intelligence.
Completely updated for the international market, the assessment is widely used in countries including the United Kingdom, Australia, China, India, Saudi Arabia and, since 2007, Italy.
The tool retains the original structure of Raymond B. Cattell’s sixteen personality factors, ensuring high levels of reliability and validity.
The 15FQ+ is available in two versions:
· a full version containing 200 items;
· a shorter version containing 100 items.
Both are designed to be straightforward and efficient for both participants and practitioners.
In Italy, the full 200-item version is typically used.
A test is only useful if it is accompanied by a clear psychological interpretation that takes the context into account.
360-Degree Performance Assessment
The purpose of a 360-degree assessment process is to provide individuals with feedback on a broad range of workplace competencies from multiple organisational perspectives.
(Insert example Psytech International 360° report.)
The managerial competencies evaluated through a 360-degree assessment include:
- Integrity
Ethics, reliability, self-awareness, risk management and accountability. - Creativity
Innovation, adaptability, holistic thinking, strategic capability and idea generation. - Logical and Analytical Ability
Rational thinking, numerical capability, critical evaluation, decision-making and analytical skills. - Interpersonal Effectiveness
Relationship-building skills, empathy, interpersonal support, diplomacy and assertiveness. - Resilience
Emotional balance, composure, self-control, confidence and sound judgement. - Influence
Communication skills, written communication, coaching capability, public presence and listening skills. - Planning and Organisation
Time management, future orientation, prioritisation, delegation and planning ability. - Quality Orientation

Organisational Climate and Culture Analysis
Beyond individual assessments, I also support organisations in understanding their organisational climate, including participation levels, internal trust, values alignment, communication quality, ownership and accountability.
Organisational climate analysis helps organisations:
- identify underlying tensions;
- recognise what sustains motivation;
- understand team expectations and needs;
- guide interventions related to leadership, culture and organisational processes.
It is a particularly valuable strategic tool during periods of change or whenever there is a need to realign the meaning and purpose of teamwork.
A test is only useful if it is accompanied by a clear psychological interpretation that takes the context into account.
Why Choose the Visual Psychology Method
Psychological assessment is not limited to data; it is intertwined with visual language, which makes the results immediately understandable.
The Visual Psychology method allows you to:
- transform complex data into clear maps and visualizations
- facilitate recall through visual metaphors
- combine tests, interviews, and observation
- create more engaging growth paths
This approach is particularly effective when the tests are used in conjunction with other services such as:
