An organisation is not built on organisational charts and processes. It is built on people who speak to one another every day, sometimes misunderstand each other, sometimes communicate perfectly and, above all, make decisions. It is within this invisible space between roles that much of an organisation’s success is determined. <\/p>\n\n
Organisational psychology<\/strong> explores how thoughts, emotions, beliefs, culture and behaviour influence people’s working lives and the way organisations function.<\/p>\n\n In other words, it is the discipline that helps create workplaces where people and organisations can perform, develop and thrive.<\/p>\n\n As an organisational psychologist<\/strong>, I observe individual and team dynamics, support change processes and facilitate communication between people and organisations. Organisational psychology is a branch of psychology that focuses on people at work and the systems in which they operate. Through observation, assessment and active listening, it helps organisations and individuals to: <\/p>\n\n Within organisations, organisational psychologists do far more than observe. They design practical interventions that strengthen relationships, improve performance and foster a positive working environment.<\/p>\n\n The work of an organisational psychologist may include:<\/p>\n\n In my own work, these areas are integrated with the visual language of the Visual Psychology\u00ae Method<\/strong><\/a>, an approach that makes thoughts, relationships and organisational dynamics visible so they can be understood more easily. <\/p>\n\n After more than twenty years working with Italian and international organisations, together with my experience as a Graphic Recorder,<\/a><\/strong> I realised that visual language can become a powerful psychological tool.
